Hey all, a question ive had for the longest time has had to do with the width and height of tables, usually having to do with screen size changing.

Now my question here is regarding how to make my site's CLICK ME! content area(the large blank grey area) automatically expand down to the bottom of the page(without making it so you have to scroll to see the bottom) and once content is added it expands to accomodate the content and a scroll bar is present on the side of the page....

I think what you want to do is change the height of the table from the 500 you have now to 100%. If you do though you'll need to specify heights of your table rows and or table cells or the page will want to pull itself apart. (Just change the table height to 100% to see what I mean).

Then for the table cell(s) where the content will go you'll want to also specify the height in % to allow that cell to expand. It might even be best to fill up the one big cell with another table and use a heaight of 100% on that inner table.

The way it looks now you may need to restucture the table a little. Instead of having the main content area be filled with the one image which had the two white bars on the ends and the backgound color I'd make separate images for the bars and just use a background color for what's between. You don't need an image to display a large block of solid color.

The images for the bars on the sides will need to be done in a way that lets them repeat vertically and still look seamless. I think as they are now they would look fine and all you'd need to do is separate them from the background part of the image.

Of course my recommended approach would be to use a css layout instead of the tables, but I think what I've described above should work for what you want.

vangogh is right. You need 100% table height, get rid off your content graphic - it won't change the table height. Make them in background repeat or divide into 2 pole sides.
