HI i was wondering if anyone knew how to show on a homepage the number of clicks that a submit button had recieved on a dif page. I would like to use it on m site http://gamesigs.co.uk to show on the homepage how many sigs have been made. I have seen it done on countless sites but no one seems to know how to do it. Thanks Digi.

Assuming you're storing the sigs in a database, couldn't you just display a count of the records in the DB?

If you're not storing the signatures inside a database you could put a hit counter on the signature download page (after the person has clicked submit and goes to the place where they save their sig pic) then display the hit-counter totals on the main page.

thanks for the replys. I have tried doind the hit counter one with statcounter.com but it didnt work as it takes the number from all the pages. Does anyone know of a host that you can just record one page. Also i'm a bit confused about the db idea because my host gives me one MySQL and ive used that on the forum. Can i still have it recording the clicks, and how would i do this?

Nothing to do with the host. You have to be recording hits/views to the page in some way or another.

You have one MySQL database you can put tables in that database to store anything you need

Can someone tell me how to do it without a db (i.e using a text file), or point me to a good tutorial.
