I am in need of a basic information website. I won't be selling anything on it, just want to put information about my company on it.

However, I do want functionality for this scenario. I want to have a link that says Re-order for my current customers. I want this link to run a re-order program in the background where once the customer logs in the images of what they have ordered from me appear on the screen and they are just able to click on what they want and then go through the credit card payment process. It seems for this portion I would need database capabilities as well as the shopping cart/merchant service functions as well.

I am wondering if anyone has done anything like this or knows of a good way I can accomplish this. I think I could do the basic info website with a site builder that will be provided by my web host(which I haven't chosen yet so if you have a recommendation.....). I am just really unsure about the other part of this site.

You would definetely need to use php or asp. if you are new to it, look at www.hotscripts.com, some are realy easy to customize. They have a lot. As for hosting, I like www.bluehost.com and www.startlogic.com they are cheap and dependable. Startlogic is cheaper, but I use bluehost because I need more databases. So, it is up to you... there are many websites that provide hosting companies reviews... look around... Some people like Godaddy... its all a matter of your personal taste.
