extra space - can't get rid of it.

hello there!
im new to ths forum site, but anyways....

im having problems...
there's extra space between the "home" link and
the "core and aspet" bar on the left
i can't seem to be able to get rid of it . . .

im sure its just a silly mistake i just can't see...

Your code's quite a mess for starters but your problem is possibly how you layout your inline elements, I noticed a few that you treated like block elements, things like td, span, etc the code should be hardup against each other or you end up with miscellaneous spaces that you may not have expected, also there's quite a bit of break usage which may not be intentional.

The problem I have is your site fills less than half my screen which is quite disappointing to see, would be nice if you could at least get it in a fluid design or at least fill more of my screen, fluid being the better choice.

im quite new to this. i'v never really made websites before... and what yooh said didn't make any sense to me ... lol
