Might I suggest that you NOT teach HTML 3.2 and step up to HTML 4.01. That means dropping the deprecated tags like <center> <font> , <bgcolor> and such and use <strong> instead of <b> and <em> instead of <i>.

We need to be teaching newbies CURRENT web technology, not the moldy old stuff that's been around since 1995 !

Oh yes, I hadn't noticed that. One place that I've found to have very good tutorials that are up to date is W3Schools Online Web Tutorials
