Hi.

I have a web design that I am trying to create. My front page is kind of a crossword where the user clicks on one of the coloured words to go to that section (only russian and about me are working at present).

In IEm it works just how I want it - if you role the mouse over the square it makes the whole square become a hyperlink. In firefox however the script doesn't work and only the word itself is a hyperlink.

I havent tested it in safari but i have been told there are a few problems there too.

Can anyone suggest any changes to make this more compatible?

Thanks
Andrew

We would need to see your code, or a link to the page. We have no idea how you implemented the feature you're having a problem with, so we can't really help!

Definitely going to need to see a link to the page or some code before we can help.

That was stupid of me! Sorry, thought I had added the link. Here it is:

CSS Three Column Liquid Layout by Mani Sheriar

Thanks

Andrew I think I see the issue. I think what you want to do is move the javascript onclick event to the <a> tag instead of having it on the <td> and then to get your link to fill up the entire table cell add:

a {display:block}

in your css. That should make the entire <td> become linkable in both browsers if I'm not mistaken.

I'm at work so cant test it, but it sounds right. I'll have a go tonight, and any problems I will get back to you.

Thanks
