Hi!

I'm getting ready to start a project of building a site. My client is in another state, and I'd basically like to build the site and have him be able to make updates. Is this possible to do in Dreamweaver? He won't have Dreamweaver installed, so is there a way to upload it somewhere so that he can make future edits, or do I need to find an online web application to build the site? I really don't want to use an existing template - would like it to be original (i.e. my design).

If I do need to find a Web application to build it online, does anyone have any affordable suggestions - tight budget.

Thanks!

Depends if your client knows any html or not..
If he does, then you can upload the site to his webserver and he can use an ftp program to up and download changes to the site.

If he doesn't then a CMS is maybe something for you. Try OpenSourceCMS - Home. All these CMSs are open source (free). But if you've never worked with one of those before, expect to spend quite some time finding out how to custumize everything to your liking. Almost all of them also require PHP support and a database (mostly MySQL).

Thanks for the resource - I'll definitely check it out. He does not know any HTML at all, so it will need to be pretty straight forward. Actually, I only know a little, myself - I'm more of a graphics person than a Web person, but I can build simple sites... definitely not up on the jargon, though!

Thanks again!
