I normally make all my websites in Frontpage but noticed I always had problems with look in other browsers e.g. fire fox.

So the other day I thought Id dive in a just use pure html rather than frontpage, I was amazed with the results it looks perfect in both browsers of IE & Firefox.

I forgot how much html I knew, Is frontpage really bad like some one told me trying to show something in a non windows product which was made in a windows product is liek trying to start a car without a engine... lol Ill stay away from frontpage from now on, They should teach you more html in school!

I personally don't use frontpage. I prefer dreamweaver but it can mess with your code just like front page but its not as bad. I just keep the code in view while I design, that way I can correct anything as i go along. You can't beat knowing html in the first place, thats for sure. These packages just make coding quicker.

Yes, FrontPage is really that bad. The (hideous) code it produces is IE-specific so it's no surprise that page/sites produced with it do not work properly in other browsers.

You are much better off writing your HTML by hand, even if using something like Dreamweaver, which left on its own, produces some very BAD code too.

Frontpage suffers from the same thing all WYSIWYG editors in that your pages will be greatly inflated with excessive code. Also Frontpage is a Microsoft product so it will make pages that look good in IE but not other browsers.
