not sure quite how to explain this best, but here goes:

essentially, working in dreamweaver 8, and i was wondering if there is any way of linking cell values from a table on one page, to a table on another page.

essentially, the information has been copied from an excel spreadsheet to a table in dreamweaver.
then i would like the value in a particular cell to update another cell on another table in a different page.

similar to using the '=' function in excel.

apologies if its a touch on the mickey mouse side, but basically, i'm stuck!

cheers in advance...

Using html without asp, php, or codlfusion, you could use what we call "state"
to do this. It wouldn't be exactly like an excel spreadsheet, but you could pass
information from one page to another. You could do this using forms.

Will the values in the cells be changing at all once everything is online? If so you're best bet is to use a server side language like php or asp that reads and writes the values to and from a database.
