I have created a page with Dreamweaver, and on the page I created a Flash Button called "The People". Here is the page:

In Firefox the button works fine - click it once and it opens the page. But in IE, you click the button once and a box goes around the button, and then you have to click it again to open the page.

Does anyone know why it is doing this and how to fix it so you only have to click once? Thanks for any insight -

People you MUST STOP using the <embed> tag for active content like Flash !

MS lost the EOLAS patent suit and for people using patched versions of IE and Windows, they get the problem you describe, they MUST 'activate' the active content, which means 2 clicks.

There are several methods for embedding active content WITHOUT using the <embed> tag.. pick one:
