Hi there, I've just recently created a website using slices in imagready. All the graphics, rollovers etc have been made. and the site is almost ready to be uploaded to a webhost.

All thats needed is for video files (of my work) to be linked to buttons, so that they can be downloaded by users (not streamed).

I've tried using dreamweaver to link the video files, yet when the user clicks on a button the video file opens immediately in windows media player. I don't want this, I want 'that little grey prompt box' to appear- offering the user to save to disk/ open. Can anyone help?

ALSO my webhost allows frontpage extensions but doesn't have anything related to dreamweaver. Does this matter at all???

Then you're going to have to zip them up, the browser is going to d/l and play the native file. You might also link to an FTP download area.

NONE whatsoever. DW doesn't need goofy server extensions to make things work properly !!
