Hi, I made and run a forum using the free forums at Active Boards/Sparklit. They do not currently offer custom URL's. I am trying to find out how to work it out where I can use a shorter, custom URL to get to my forum. Could anyone offer any help to me about this? I think you so much.

Did you register a domain name? If so, you can always just use the domain as a forwarder to get to your forum site. There is an option in your domain account to do this.

If you haven't register a domain, this would help you as far as getting a custom, shorter name for your forums.

Yeah, you can either register your own domains which would be the best imho. Or try tinyurl.com

If you have a domain name, then login to the control panel at your domain name provider ( were you bought your domain name ) and forward the domain name to your free forum site.
