I just found out that XHTML 2 is out. Should I switch from XHTML 1 Strict? does anyone know anything about it? The w3c site didn't tell me much.

I havent heard this yet. I probably would wait a while before I start using xhtml2 though. Just because of browser support and stuff. Who knows when everyone will upgrade to the new IE. I know I haven't yet. Its just like when new software comes out. I always wait a while until bugs are worked out!
Just curious, what is the main difference between xhtml1 and 2?

If I'm reading the ultra-ambiguous W3speak correctly (God, why can't these people write in English?) it's a "public beta" of sorts and is not a stable, final release.

Guess that means I'm supposed to say "it's a work in progress." So there, I said it. "It's a work in progress."

In other words, I wouldn't go using it for anything yet.

Actually, in regards to IE 7, MS pushed out IE7 as a 'critical update' via Windows Update this past Wednesday, so LOTS of people are going to suddenly have IE 7 -whether they know it or not. People like me, who do not allow MS to run rampant 'udpates' when it wants to, will OPT to install IE 7 when they choose to do so.

"For now." The problem is that it's a working draft, and anything is possible with the W3C. I wouldn't be surprised if it were a whole new coding standard by the time it was done.
