hey can anybody here tell me a good place to learn basic css on the web. so that i can learn the basics and convert my site. www.freeclipsandgames.com into css instead of html

Ok, CSS is not done INSTEAD of HTML, it is used IN ADDITION to HTML and the CSS should handle all of your presentation while the HTML provides the STRUCTURE of your page.

To learn CSS, might as well go to the W3C:

Like Ladyn said CSS is an addition to your HTML not replacing it.

Not sure if you can advertise other sites on here put if you put in to google Simple CSS Tutorial you will find many out there.

I would go to W3C first though some these tutorials teach you to take short cuts and use improper code.
