These guys know there servers better than anyone. It they are running apache servers they probably know what they are doing. They are the best source to answer your question.
If my ip support will not help with situations like this I find a company that will and change my hosting company immediately. There job is to provide support for/to you.
There job is to help you get this done. Call them up and talk to them. I can call my support and talk with them at any time. I am on a first name basis, and I do not have to go through a *support ticket* to get things done. This is nothing but bureaucratic bunk and shouldn't stop you from being ablel to get on the phone and say, "Hey Joe, what do I need to do here?" Or get an aswer in one form or another.
If your support fails to help you, its time to find a company with support that will. This is the frist thing I ask an internet provider. "Are you going to be available when I need help, and how will I need to communicate with you to get things done." If I can't give them a phone call and ask for personal help. They're not for me...
If this persists, consider changing providers.
