Can someone please help me!

The URL of the site is http://www.archoneholdings.com.

When you surf from the index page to the services page, or any other page in Internet Explorer you cannot hit the back button to return to the index page, your stuck on the services page.

Is there a certain code that needs to be placed on every page for this to work in IE?

When using Firefox the back button feature works fine, i don't understand why

This does not really solve your problem, but i thought it may be usefull.

You can try incorperating a javascript back button into your page:
<a href="javascript:history.go(-1)">GO BACK</a>

There are some META tags out there that can tell IE to automatically refresh the page. If those are in use, it can hinder the effectiveness of the back button.

Brian's right. The reason your back button doesn't work is because there is a redirect that occurs from what looks to be your services page to servicemainnew.html . It's not a META refresh tag that I can determine (although I'm on a laptop on the road so I don't have all my tools), but it is something of that nature.

Remove whatever redirect is there, since there doesn't appear to be any good reason for it (so I'm going to guess "SEO" in quotes) and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the replies, this doesnt happen only on the services page, its any page that you click to from the index page. Once your inside the sub folders the Back button works fine.

I have not inserted any special redirect tag, for any purpose and the site is not (SEO Optimized) at all! If it where i would suck at SEO (which is not the case)

Why would everything work fine in Firefox but not in IE?

Sorry if this post seems lame, and useless for people who are trying to learn real stuff on these forums, but its really bothering me.

Well, at least it's not an SEO redirect. All a spider would find is a blank page.
Code:
<script> location = "http://www.archoneholdings.com/servicemainnew.htm";</script>
My thought is that it's a lame attempt at a 301.
