hope i can make myself understandable.

For 2 weeks i suddenly have this problem.

whenever i open up something, it comes up in Full Screen Mode, and not
a smaller window like normal.

If it is a new letter in outlook, Alt-ctrl-del (window task manager), or
pages within a internet site. "in the old days" a new page would open op in ex. Half page size (i know you can decide the size).
but now everything opens up in Full Screen (maximize size), so for me to return to the original page, i have to press the bar in the toolbar in the buttom.
If it would open up in minimize size, but the whole screen, then i can make it smaller, and after a few times, it will automatically opens up in this size.
but i don't have this option anymore.

i have tried to change all kinds of options, but nothing helps.

can anyone help??

I think you went to some websites that maximize your browsing window. My guess is that you can solve this by deleting your cookies and temp internet files.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

IE always opens in the size the previous windows was closed in.

Resize a window, close it then see what size IE windows open in.

Hit F11 when you open IE.

You might have to close and reopen it again to see the effect, but you should be fine after that.
