I would help but I've got too much commitment with other forums I maintain to add more to my plate, though I always enjoy pushing the learning of computers, especially with up and coming forums, it's always good to get someone who can interest the people and get them contributing just to help them out.
I agree with a new template needs to be made, straight out of the box doesn't really show your ability.
You should also make sub forums within your category, with one of the forums I first started maintaining, we made a few mistakes that weren't apparent until further down the road when we reached thousands of members it just came apparent that if we had created categories, e.g. Linux (Red Hat/Fedora, Debian Based, SuSE, etc), we could have saved ourselves some time when maintaining the information we gathered because we use to sift through all the information and build E-Magazines, FAQs, Tips and Guides based on the information, and it was difficult to find general Linux information, and Linux specific information. We've finally cleaned this up though but it took a lot of manpower to do so.
Also the people you may want maintaining your board should be able to help in specific areas, we've got a few who's sole responsibility is cleaning up the grammar and improving thread titles, I notice you used one of the worse titles: Need help!!!!, this does not portray anything about the thread, and this is where we'd get one of our editors to change this, based on what you are asking.
Cheers,
MC

I am well recognised for what I don't do than what I do. Chores are just one of those things.
