I am trying to help my friend out, his problem is simple but hard to explain.

In FF, on a page with lots of links, if you scroll down and click on one, and it takes you to a page, then if you hit back, it doesn't go back to the current position you were in when you hit the link.

It does in IE (I believe)

Does that make sense?

Now scroll down and click on a link, then hit back, it will take you to the top of the page! (I want it to go back to the part where you were!)

This problem has been known for a while, it's strange it hasn't been fixed, or has it?

I've been using FF V2 on Linux (not fixed) and on Windows XP (fixed) but I believe my Linux version is not current as I've been preparing to upgrade the OS, so any updates done now will just be a waste of time.

You may just have to update your browser, apart from that, it's just a problem that only the FF developers could fix.
