Fillable Forms (Feedback)

Hi all,

I am using MS Expression Web software (very similar to FrontPage) and I have managed to insert a form with some buttons (Reset, Submit).

What I need to know is that how to implement a method to make this form functional, in other words, when they click on the submit button, I receive an e-mail, containing their feedback. Also I would like to insert a drop-down menu (feedback, general question, etc.)

Would you kindly help me out?

Thanks in advance!

How do you like the FrontPage replacement?

You make the form "work" by changing the action attribute when the form is submitted. Firing off an email could either happen through the client's machine, or your email server - it's not clear which you want?

Adding a drop down should be very easy - do you have some kind of tool box in Expression with different form elements?

Thanks for the response. When I right click on the submit button, it pops a window, asking about these:

Where to store results
Send To (Requires FrontPage Server Extensions)
File Name [BROWSE]
Email Address

Send to Database
Send to Other

Obviously I want the first choice (Send to (e-mail address)). But I am not sure, why it is asking for a file (it has a browse button). If I ignore this, and just put an e-mail address, it says: "This form cannot be configured to send results via e-mail. The website may be located at a disk-based location, or on a server that has not been configured to send e-mail. Contact your ISP for more info."

Do I have to contact my ISP regarding this?

Do you want your website to send the email, or do you want the visitor to do this?

Thanks, I want them to fill out the form, and whatever they have entered into that form (feedback, etc.) be sent to me in an e-mail.

Thanks.

If you don't care where the email is sent from, why don't you just use send email?
