You've got a lot going on with that flash movie. Your first problem is the fps frame rate. it's set to 30. that's a lot. I know 12fps is normally to choppy for this type of animation, but 30 fps is far too high.
- You should add a quick preloader at the beginning. The preloader would probably take no more than a few seconds. For example, look at my homepage - http://www.aspirecreate.com. I use a preloader for my flash, it last for about 1 second and means my flash doesn't jump.
- I would be careful of using the flash 8 filters (drop shadow filters etc). Because your using these, you have to use flash player 8. There are still not that many people with flash player 8. If your aiming at a wide audience, you should try not to go over flash player 7. (in my opinion)
