I don't understand - do you mean a frame within the page?

If I were you - I wouldn't. I feel that if Google are offering their services to you and all they ask in return is for their logo to be put next to the search bar then thats the least you can do.

Explanation please?

On-topic:

You could always try getting the whole page in PHP and then stripping out what you don't want.

That will get you an answer, for sure. Probably not the one you want though.

What exactly do you want to use on your page (since it obviously isn't Google)? Asking non-specific questions is assured to get you non-specific answers.

No. greenlush you DO NEED the google logo it is in their Terms of Use (below) and without it, you are in breach of contract.

Quote:
The Search Box shall conspicuously display a graphic (available at http://www.google.com/stickers.html) that indicates that the Service is provided by Google. The graphic shall link to the Google site located at http://www.google.com or such other address as Google may designate from time to time during the Term.

You are on a free hosting company with ads and you want to disable them?
Probably won't work because they put the ad on every page.
So if you could the ads from the top page away, with your iframe method, then there will probably be more ads in the iframe.

If this isn't exactly true, please state some more information.

Regards,
Insensus
