Photoshop^3 Layout Help in IE

Ugh, Okay, yet again Micro$oft has foiled my plans! Anyway, i designed a nice layout, that works fine in Firefox and all, and from what i hear it works fine in IE7, unfortunately, there is a problem with version of IE lower than 7, there is a blueish background where there should just be transparency.

any one have any clue on how to fix it in both IE and FF

ps: if you could tell me what you think of the design, while your at it, it would be nifty.

AHah, Thats pretty lame. Sorry about that, i thought they were .gifs or else i wouldn't have bothered. I heard about png transparency's not working in IE, but i didnt know what happened instead

Anyway, thanks!
