i have some flash in my site and when i used the W3C Markup Validation Service. i get :

there is no attribute "src".

as far as i know when you add a swf file it looks like this:
<embed src="myFile.swf" quality="high">
it also tells me that there is no attribute quality, so is there another way to write it so it will be in the standart?

Have a look at this thread on adding Flash to a web page. The embed tag is not part of the specs and isn't standards compliant. It's not going to validate. The thread in the link above will give you alternate ways of adding Flash and having the code validate.

It would be nice to see your site first before responding, but that validation service is not the best around -- W3C does have some great schooling.

To answer your question, they have an area for Flash Embedded

No.
Some browsers are a pain if it comes to compatibility with the others.
You'll have to use strict rules to get it working for most browser and even then you could still miss one.

Strict or transitional does not matter, <embed> will NEVER validate !
