Hi,
I am new Webmaster.
I have a website http://www.smsdose.com
The problem is whenever i update my pages it doesn't open in updated state, for this i have to fefresh it once.
Can anyone suggest me a code for auto refresh?

I have cut & paste a code for this but it doesn't work. following is the code:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="expires" CONTENT="Wed, 26 Feb 1997 08:21:57 GMT">

Thanks.

Everything you always wanted to know about caching but were afraid to ask is there.

I don't think you want to use no cache or automatic refreshing.

How often do you update your site? Maybe I'm wrong, but if you don't change your site that often, the added strain on your server is going to slow your site down if you have a lot of traffic, and bandwidth could become an issue, depending on your hosting.

Hopefully a lot of your visitors are new ones, and don't have a cached version to fall back on. And some of them won't have come by for a while. So when you make a change and want to test it, this is an obvious problem ... but I think in the grand scheme, your users won't be as affected as you are.

You have to clear caches from your computer using internet options. A lot of ppl don't have this problem though and ppl who are using your site will most likely see the updates and not yesterdays page
