I am an intermediate when it comes to HTML, I feel I know my way around it pretty well but wouldn't consider myself an expert. I am doing a site for a friend who is opening a B&B and am having an issue.

This is where I am at: www.mahoosucrealty.com/bbear/

The problem I am facing is that I would like to have the footer stay at the bottom of the page no matter how much content is in the white cell and no matter what the screen resolution is. Essentially, I guess I just want to align it to the bottom of the page...

Is there a way to do this without having to have content push it down? Is there a better way to setup my code so that I can accomplish this?

Any help, thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

thanks.

Is this what you meant or you may need to look into layers

The only way I am aware of doing this is to design the site in frames. The top frame size would be set to "*" and the bottom frame would be set to whatever size you need to hold your content. However, I have to say that this is a bad design idea on several levels. I highly discourage the use of frames ...and 100 out of 100 of the top visited Web sites agree with me. ;-)

...any other "non-frames" solution you might receive, I would be highly cautious about testing to ensure that it is cross-browser compatible. I know there are possibly some css/javascript solutions out there, like the floating menu (search on javascript.internet.com), but they are pretty ugly/sketchy and again, test cross-browser compatibility.

Hope this helps.

I was thinking about having it centered at the bottom of the white space. I want the site to fit the browser window at a 100% height.
