It looks like more of a FLASH thing. If so, tell your bosses that you will need a purchased copy of that software plus a couple books. Most companies hate to spend money, so persuade them that a less flashy (no pun) approach is best. To that end you can download javascript that will modify the scroll bar to a limited degree. If they really want the that iTunes then tell them they will likely need to hire someone full time for the job (unless you like this job of coarse)
Whoops. Just noticed two things:
1. the 'itoons thing' is built into itunes.
2. You could do something similar with the CSS overflow. I am just lousy with the stuff so hopefully someone will have the answer.
But you run into the ever so popular issue of browser compatibility. iTunes doesn't worry about that because it is a program.
