Independently scrolling sections on same page?

Hi,

I'm working on my band's site and I wanted to divide a lyrics page into two sections: one with the album covers and the other with the lyrics pertaining to whichever album is selected. I want these areas to scroll independently, but I'm not sure how to make it work.

Any suggestions?
Peter

I think I figured it out...I had thought of using frames but pre-supposed problems that I don't think exist. They seem to be doing what I want though. Still if anyone has other ideas please let me know.

Thanks,
Peter

What problems are you referring to?
Sounds like frames might be what you need, but it depends on how you want it set up.

I was anticipating problems with linking back to the main pages. My concern was that if I used frames, any linked page would open exclusively within that frame. I figured it out, though...I think.

However, I WOULD like to know how to create a scrolling text area within a page. For example, if I wanted to list tour dates and place some decorative images behind the text, I don't want to have to scroll through the images as well. I want the text to be scroll independently. Do you know how this is achieved?

Thanks, Peter

If you want to stick with frames, you could use an IFRAME or "Inline Frame".

You can get instructions at htmlhelp.com

I'm not attached to using a frame if there are other ways of doing this. I'll check out the link.

Thanks,
Peter
