Hello,

I've searched high and low on the web for some information on how to add a simple 'top 10' list to a web page.

What I mean is...

You see lots of websites displaying 'Most Downloaded Files' lists or 'Recently Added' lists on the home pages of there websites.

What kind of coding language makes these kind of scripts and if you were to search for them, what would you call the scripts?

I'm looking for an 'out of the box' solution so I can easily add a piece of code to my web page to show 'Top 5 Most Downloaded Files' on my homepage, reflecting files contained on my actual downloads page.

Thanks for your help,

MXMaster©

there probably isn't an "out of the box" solution, but it's not a major task to code one, and any server side code can be used

Heh, this is actually quite simple.

Download counter > Database > Display Biggest download count.

I could make one for you free if you wanted?

Or if you do not want to use a Mircosoft product and would prefer to support PHP, use PHP.

Thanks guys,

Rogem002 that would be brilliant if you could.

PHP would also be good as my server currently doesn't support .ASP.

Message me through this forum if you like for my details (E-Mail)

Yours,
