flash slideshow - flushing it

I have uploaded new images into my flash slideshow.
However, these don't appear in the slideshow until days later.
I think it's a cache problem somewhere....?

I tried pressing CTRL-F5 and clearing the cache (Tools->Options->Cache...(Firefox)) but this doesn't seem to help.

Any ideas?

IE DOES have a problem with that. The only way we've found that works right away is to rename the SWF file. Pain in the butt because you have to edit your page, but it doesn't take drastic changes.

We have not have this problem with FF, but obviously it exists. There may be some cache-controls that can be set on your server too, you might want to check into that.

Thanks, thats helpful. I'll try renaming the SWF file.
I am using a company network, proxy server so your caching theory may be right.

I don't know if this works with the most current version of flash, but I used to clear my browser history and temporary internet files, and that solved the problem, at least for me. Anyone else who is viewing a cached copy is going to have to do the same or wait until their browser checks for a new version. There may be some coding work around, but I don't know it.
