I made a logo with a small animation on it as a wmv and then converted it to swf and flv.
Is there any way to edit it to include a hyperlink to clik on it and be directed to a URL?
The question I have is: why would you want to? Do you want users to see it, or do you want them to download it?
Chances are that the former is the scenario you're looking to accomplish. If that's the case, create a page with the SWF file in it and link to it. Then create another page with the WMV file in it and link to that.
That way, you maintain the look and feel of your site throughout and it becomes more difficult (although not impossible) for others to leech your content and put it on their servers.
What I'm doing is using a .swf as a small ad banner that I pay for on a page offering services. The banner would be a link to my site. I tried ladynred idea and no worky
It's a toughie for me and the webguys at the site I'm posting my banner. We actually ended up with a wmv file and then placed a "clik this link" text hyperlink under the wmv to make it work.
I don't have flash builder software, I only have video and audio software that I would then use a flash converter and the converter does not support embedding a link.
If you have anything I can work with from this I'd love to hear it.
Thanks
