As I suspected might happen, I am running into a layout issue with http://www.webdebproductions.com/chi...ting/home3.htm
The page in question uses a layout that was designed by someone else (not a Web designer). I've sliced and optimized the images in ImageReady and set the page up in Dreamweaver using tables and layers. When I add text to the center area of the page, the content on the right side in the Newsletter and Calendar boxes shift and throws off everything within the layers. FYI: The Newsletter and Calendar content are each placed in layers within a table cell.
I tried adjusting the vertical alignment for each cell (right now all cells are set at center default vertical alignment), and I also tried using the Newsletter and Calendar images as BG images in table cells, but this made it look even worse. I'm not sure what is causing this? If any of you have had a similar layout issue and have a suggestion to help prevent this from happening, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! :-) |
