I have a school assignment due.
I need to investigate a specific career in IT by interviewing someone in the field

I would appreciate any responses to this!

Here are the questions:

What is the pay/salary?
What are the education requirements for your job?
What are the advancement possibilities of your position?
What are the work conditions and location?
What type of people interaction is there?
Do you regularly use and electronic tools like: pagers, cell phones, etc.?
What is/are the programming language/s you use most?
Are there any other comments you have about this profession?

See, you could have just admitted that your initial response was all wrong. Yeah, I know I can do Google Searches. Anyone can do Google Searches to find anything. My assignment states the need for an interview, so I am taking my own approach to "interviewing".

Perhaps my wording was not quite right. When I said "Interviewing someone in the field" I did not mean "Interview them while they are at work". I mean "Interview someone who is in this line of work". So I am sorry for that. But, obviously, interviewing DOESN'T mean Googling it, either, which, by your initial response, is apparently how you would have tackled this project.

The fact that you have made over 800 posts shouldn't give you the authority to turn people away from these forums by generating rude responses to honest questions.

Once again travelagent mucks up someones post with his "I am the man!" rhetoric. Why can't you just answer his question with some meaningful dialect? If you can't honestly add anything to the post, then why do you? I mean come, you're getting little out of control with some of your comments. Instead od asking him his age, I think you need grow up a little yourself... whatever your age might be.
