I'm working on this website for a company, and in Opera the website displays like it should, but in IE7, it will not display the table border on the left and right sides properly. I have a two row table for this, the top of the left and right sides has a 430px image (because the background fades at the top, this accomadates that), and then a 1px image designed to stretch below the 430px one. IE7 is having the top cell stretch even though i designated the height in the code, and the bottom cell is stuck at the bottom being only 1px tall. Is there anyway to fix this?

I've been reading around a bit, and would it probably be to my advantage to movie to a CSS assisted div layout for this site? I'm way out of the loop, I haven't coded for nearly 2 years

In a word: "Yes". You can easily code this using CSS with a loat leaner code. That's about the only solid advice I can give you.

I'm assuming you want something like this: http://www.innovolve.com/index2.asp (the content area).

To that effect yes. I've done this in the past, but on other sites I only had 1 row in the table going down the left and right sides, which didn't even allow for this issue to arise. I also did some more reading and noticed that IE7 now supports PNG alpha transparency, and I found an easy CSS/JS fix for prior IE versions.

This is the second major revision I did on this site working out little kinks, which is begining to annoy me because I'm not charging much on it to begin with.

On that note, what would guys quote a website like this pricewise? It has 6 pages now, but the services one will be broke up into seperate services, making a total of 10 pages, and the possiblity of a flash animated header will be added.
