I posted this in the blogging section but got no response so I figure this might be a better section of the forum to ask.

I have a blog http://www.justlovinglife.com/ that I have placed Google Adsense ads on. The only problem is that the ads just won't show up. It keeps showing a white space where the ads should be. I have tried all sorts of different places within the html but it keeps showing a blank space.

At the moment the code for it is sitting in the Sponsored Ad section of the site in the right menu bar. As you can see there is just white space.

Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?

I looked at your source code and it looks as if the AdSense code has been modified i see this
//2007-03-26: 1st in Unique Gifts Blog in the middle of the code.
You DO NOT want to modify the code because your ads wont work and it will get you banned by Google.

That is the exact code that I copied over from Adsense when the url was 1st-in-unique-gifts.blogspot.com. (I changed the domain names.) I have changed it to the correct code now but it is still showing the same problem.

Your AdSense code is still corrupted - "//2007-04-15: 1st in Unique Gifts Blog" inside the code. Your need to correct code. I've tried and find out that your blog will display ads surely. Just install AdSense preview tool (it's Google free tool) to see them.

//2007-04-15: 1st in Unique Gifts Blog" is actually a part of the google code. It's used for tracking where the channels are.

Exactly. The issue is NOT a piece of Javascript commented code and Google supplied it.

Have you been approved yet by Google? I can't remember, but I think you can generate Adsense code before your account is approved. The code itself looks okay, and I don't see anything that would block it.

jenyfari, I see adsense 160x600 adsense block at sidebar (in the left ) of your blog right now. It's look like pretty enough.

If you're trying to view your web page from work, it's highly likely that your company's proxy server is filtering Google ads (mine does).

The other clue is "Done, but with errors on page." down on the left bottom of your browser.

It's now working here as well. Chances are big G just wasn't ready for you yet.
