Hi folks,
I am working on a Web page in Dreamweaver that is very graphic intensive. The home page currently takes 20 seconds to load with a min. 56K modem. I'd like to get the page size smaller but the client wants to keep the images and wants to use flyout menus for the navigation. I think that if we use flyout menus, the page download will be further slowed down with more graphics and javascript, but the client insists on using flyout menus. I suggestsed as an alternative that the user click on a button and then go to that page to see subcategories of that topic that they can visit from there.
Anyone have any other suggestions for the best way to handle this?
Thank you.
