I was trying to edit my permalink for my wordpress and once i did it asked me to set up an " .htaccess file" . I dont know how to write it , or rewrite it and what to do . Completely lost.
Any help will be appreciated.

.htaccess can be simply done in notepad but i think you don't have an access for the server of your blog.

try removing it.

Your need apache to have a .htaccess file, so if your running windows or have a none linux host...you will not find it.

they should offer you some code to put in, if not...ask your Host to do it
