I´m getting spam via my contact form on my website. Do you know how to prevent this?

Add a number or images authentication

there isn't much you can do in HTML, but a lot more server side depending on what code you use.

HTML you are pretty much limited to NOT using standard names for form elements;

put you're e-mail adress in an image

Or.. you could use a javascript solution:

I've used this.. it works like a charm

I was really annouyed on a really rubish site i was doing which i found the the simple guest books had 2 pages or pron links... i was like WHAT?!? i guess it must have been crawlled at some point or other...

I don´t want to use captcha, it doesn´t look good. Is there another another solution to this problem?

i want to add the image verification thing to the guest book, is there like a seperate script which can just be used with any thing which submits data do it like works seperatly form the script is protecting..?
if that makes any sense, basically a script where i can say <? include ('imageverification.php'); ?> before the submit button on a form and it shows the image thing and dont allow the info to be submitted until the image is correnct?

there are CAPTCHA scripts that are separate but the work a little diferent then you describe.
They are included like you described <? include ('imageverification.php'); ?>

But the verification is done in the action page.
I don't have a link for one .... but if you do a quick google search for php captcha script ... i am sure you will find one.

ok ill will google it, i know theres one built into the conteact form im using, but i want the guest book to have one so i dont have to continuouskly delete responses
