I'm trying to put an image in front of my website with hyperlinks on top of the image like this page www.devilsforces.com, pls if anyone know hot to do it or wat program should i use.. i'll be enternaly appreciate!!! thx...

First of all, a splash page is not a good idea and they won't buy you any points with the search engines.

That being said, that site is using an image map. Look it up at www.w3schools.com

thx for the info, but i dont care about the search engines, the map image that u told me seems to be the thing, but i dont see how can u add the text to the image and then do the hyperlink...

and yeah that's y i use FIREFOX

It has nothing to do with FF vs. IE, they both render image maps the same way. If you read the lessons on how to create an image map, you will know how they got the links to appear 'over' the text.

An alternative is to use an image as a background to a div, and position actual WORDs as links inside the div. That requires that you learn HTML AND CSS.

sorry to bother u so much but can u give me a link where i can read the lesson 'cause a go here, http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_map.asp and tell me just a little bit how it works and also shows an example but what the example does is that they put the hyperlink to the whole image, and the thing that want is on top of the image put SITE and do the hyperlink...
