I have a project to install 10 webcams in different locations which are in different venues? Then the task is to build a site with all the cams streaming.

How would you go about this?

Personally, I'd set up a Helix server and stream mpeg. That should support the broadest audience.

My main reasoning is the server will run on just about any OS, and you can stream many different formats. Also, the server out performs most others (for example, a helix server on linux sending windows media, can handle 4 X's the capacity of the windows media server - double if hosted on windows).
Also, you do not have to serve to a "Helix player" like the real player.
