I have taken the advice from webmaster-talk users, and (almost) completely done away with tables except for TABULAR DATA, which seems to be a popular phrase around here. And I have received the beautiful green approval status from the wc3 schools with a lot of effort. The last part of my site that I need to exchange Css for tables in is in a section I do not know how to do. what i have now is 4 tables with 3 rows, 1 column. The upper and lower rows have a background image in them and the center row has my updates. right now they are two tables side by side with two under forming four tables in a square formation all with the attributes described above. I have been thinking about it and I cannot come up with a way to do this in css and make it look the exact same (granted i just started an intensive study in css). This may be ridiculous, but is there any way to split divs into 3 sections? what would be my course of action here?
I would post the site, but its not online and I cant risk anyone purchasing my domain name before I get a chance... Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

div stands for division. You can just use 3 divs in the div you want dividing.

or you can use classes: td.one and td.two in css and then td class="one" in html

He's trying to get AWAY from tables.

It's hard to say w/o seeing it, but I think what you'd have to do is just define 4 boxs (divs) and use floats to set them side by side.
