As if it was even possible to respect the lady any more, I realized if you rearrange the letters in her name, it spells Learn-dy. Now it's always been obvious she's brilliant and thinks knowledge is important, from the way she's been so willing to help anyone who needs it. But I thought that was extremely cool.

LNR has helped me come to terms with my ASP.NET development, and I mostly just lurk here. I was using <br> tags (please don't shoot me, I'm using <br /> now), leaving out doctypes, I still use tables but in a more appropriate way, and I'm actually using CSS properly. I'm also not as intimidated by my Blogger template as I used to be. And I'm really the slowest one in here, so I bet LNR has helped everyone else out more than me.

Since I like to give credit where it's due, I feel like it's time to give her a standing ovation.

She learns everyone good semanticly!

LNR:
<ul>
<li>rocks because she preaches the good word</li>
<li>rocks because she finds tableless layouts sexy</li>
<li>rocks because she knows that unordered lists like this one are the best way to code a list about how someone else rocks</li>
<li>rocks because she reads my blog, although she really ought to comment more *HINT*</li>
<li>rocks because she can actually answer questions...correctly!</li>
</ul>
That's about all I got to say 'bout dat.

That's really great to hear and I'm sure she appreciates it.

Awwwww... thanks everybody

Learning Newbie - I'm happy to help and it's nice to be appreciated. I did my share of asking a LOT of questions when I was learning this stuff, so I'm more than happy to be able to give back and help others along.

Adam.. LOL.. love the list !! .. oh.. and I get the HINT

Tropica.... aren't you in the UK ? hmm.. I might be persuaded to cross the pond for some return favors .. I have a lot of family history research to do in England and Scotland

I hope she does, but I don't think she appreciates the praise as much as people appreciate her help. I just don't think that would be possible. LNR is a lifesaver.

And she's just so nice about it, too!

I like a forum which credits and thanks its good contributors - Im a *hides behind sleeve* flash designer, BUT! In my defence, I do write good AS! -

Im self taught in everything I do, so I guess over the past 18mths have concentrated on the flash side, and forgot my faithful HTML roots - Im going to enjoy reading this area of the forum, all the more so for seeing "thank you" posts to great mods.

Cheers, Scotia

Scotia, you don't have to hide for being a Flash designer ! Flash has it's place and a good Flash developer can do some truely awesome things. I like doing Flash stuff, but I'm lousy at AS... sooo.. maybe we can help each other .
