I am building a site with a flash header. The links are in the flash. When someone clicks a link I only want the bottom part of the page to change. I know this can be done with frames but I want the entire page to scroll and not just the bottom half. I can use php include to load a separate page in a table cell, but then the flash still has to reload when you go to a different page. Does anyone know how to do this?

You may want to look into Javascript using AJAX, it can do what you want but may take some time to learn it.

not refreshing the page and not using frames, that is client side programming ... yeah ... js is the way to go. and ajax really is cool. ajax is being used for the quick reply feature of this forum, is that similar to what you need?

The quick reply is not really similar to what I need. I just want the flash to stay at the top of the page when the page changes. Right now I have the flash on 5 separate pages. When someone clicks the link to go to a different page the flash will replay.
