Does the <base> tag not work with links in CSS files? My background images are not showing because the browser is not using the <base> tag to get the proper url? I can't find anything about this. I just assumed that the CSS file would base everything off the <base> tag if it was present. I must be wrong?

The base element specifies a base URL for all the links in a page.
CSS isn't going to read an HTML tag, you have to specify the path to the files in your CSS rules.

So the links in inside my style sheet should be relative to where the actual css file sites?
