It used to work nicely when I used tables for the layout.
Lately Ive been workin website layout usin Css. and it don't seem to work.
Any of you guys have tried this before?

It shouldn't change anything since the "end result" is still 1 document.

So ... the problem either lies with your CSS or your call to the included document.

Have you changed hosting, or the configuration of your server? Your server needs to support server-side includes for that to work, and a lot of people disable that not knowing what it is.

One thing to keep in mind that Server Side includes are a funny beast, especially as far as Apache configurations go. Not only do they have to be enabled as an Apache module, but you have to select which types of files can contain them. If seen some servers that will only let you do shtml, and others where they have been configured with a regular expression to match anything with htm in the extension. I personally prefer PHP includes. Cheers.

Hi guys, thank you for your response. I used tables for layout with includes using the same server, and it works. I suspect might be the float and clear settings for the body. because the whole body went all the way up. (didnt manage to see the header when i include the header)
