Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me.
I'm making a The Simpsons Website (http://www.freewebs.com/simpsonsdb) and I am using frames for the navigation.

Here is my problem.

I have done the code on the index.html page and if I where to type, for example http://www.freewebs.com/simpsonsdb/contact.html The frames will dissapear, making it very confusing and hard for viewers who find a page of the website on Google.

Can someone tell me (In HTML Frames) how I can make the frames visable on all pages, even if I type the URL of a page?

Thanks

-merzitar

You cant with frames...as far as I know. That is one of the big drawbacks to frames and why most people warn against using frames.

Oh, ok. I'll have to try to sort it out then...
Thanks!
I might do it so that when you click the banner, it sends you to the main page witht he frame.

Why do you want to use frames? Is it so you can change your menu all in one place. So you dont have to update it on every page? If so, you can do this in a much better way. You can use Server Side Includes (SSIs).

I want a nav bar to show wherever you go and I am not very good at HTML so in other words, I only Know HTML, not CSS, XHTML, JavaScript or anything like that.
I alos have no idea what SSI is lol.

Thanks again
