Hello,

I run a site with a database and we have a problem.

If you scroll down, then click a link, then hit back, it goes to the absolute top of the previous page. This only happens in FF, not IE surprisingly. On most websites FF goes to where you last were vertically.

If anyone has any help, or can tell me what search terms to use, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Carter

I don't think you can, dude....I've noticed with Firefox that it generally goes to the top of the page.

I wouldn't call that a problem, either...that's just browser quirkiness. I doubt you'll ever solve that. The best you can do is to create an id value for each link, and then a Back link that returns to that ID point.

Adam,

In case you were wondering, if you add a # at the end of the URL, it will fix it. A wierd hack, I know but worth it for projects like mine.

Thanks for replying though.

Carter
