First and foremost, I read CSS & HTML & a bit of XHTML before I asked this question. I read them in 2 sites, DaveSite.com & W3Schools.org
Can somebody help me whether how to code this picture?
I would really appreciate it, thanks!
( I am trying to make a Skin for Paint.NET for the contest if your asking! )

Start with 3 resizeable divs I guess, maybe a main container/wrapper. graphics in the corners to make the shape and your golden. If you did not understand that and about positioning etc you might want to do a bit more researching and try some tests with a wysiwyg editor or notepad.

Hopefully I'll find out more.

I'm am not totally sure what the suggested method of doing the sides with a drop shadow, but you can do it a number of ways including a long side graphic. But I would set your images as background-images in the divs or do a google search and check your options.
