Hello All,

I am a newbie on this forum. I have a problem with div position in my html page. I need two divs position=relative aligned with a single div. Basically I have a header panel, content panel (have two vertical column height changed dynamically) and a footer panel. So Content panel vertical column needs to align with header panel. I need all div tags position relative, so when every div increases in height bottom div sifted down automatically.

Can sombody help me to short it out.

Thanks in advance

Sunil

WHY ? Most of the time positioning on ALL divs is simply not necessary.

If you can give us a link to the site or at least post the code, maybe we COULD sort it out.

Hello LadynRed,

Thanks for your reply.

http://www.arunverma.info/webmaster_help/

here are my webpage. Left menu panel have menu links about 50 to 300 increase and decrease dynamically. so we need to align this with header panel , because header panel has fix position.

Sorry I am not comfortable with english.

Thanks in advance.

That is confusing, is it that you want your navigation and content divs to be centered with teh header div?
Its kind of funny that the folder is called "webmaster help." No offense of course I'm wondering what type of services you will offer.

Sorry, but I can't show you the project for some reson. I just need top align both bottom panels with header panel. Also both bottom panels are indivisually aligned with header (If we delete one of them the webpage looks good in that case also).

Thanks

I would take a look at this site: http://www.ssi-developer.net/main/templates/
It has some css layout templates that should help you.

Since I cannot figure out what you are talking about I can only offer you a suggestion. Read up on Xhtml and Css, but for quick results find a website that looks a little how you want and strip the code. This is a foolproof method and you can learn how it , whatever it is, is done.
