I have been working with an intranet site. When i roll over on any link it shows the url on the status bar with the server name like the one below.

://servername/subfolder name/file name.html

rather than

://domain name/subfolder name/file name.html.

Pls help me out.
Thanks.

okay firstly what do you type in the address bar to get to the site?

Also, i think this is to do with how the domain is set up, it sounds like its set up like a cover or redirect not as normal. sorry i couldnt be more descriptive.

Dan.

If you are using any kind of php script (like Joomla/Mambo/SMF etc.), the address bar will be rewritten back to the one the script has saved in its config files. You would need to change that in order to have the links displayed with your own domain.
